Fallow Deer outing

On a lovely crisp winters morning, my guests and I set off to see a herd of Fallow deer that I know of. Stunning creatures that I used to watch at my time staying in Dunkeld. We arrived at our location and set off on the short walk to the field where the deer are often spotted. We had no sooner set off than a brown hare jumped out in front us, too quick for any cameras to be aimed at it. However, just to our left we spotted this lovely wee Roe deer.

On we ventured and came to the Fallows.

Among them was a lovely if not ragged albino stag

After numerous photo opportunities we had a wee visit to the squirrel hide to check out what the Pine Marten had been up to. I'd placed various bits of road kill for it's delication, a grouse and a hare. The grouse had disappeared but the hare was still there albeit headless. The following video is not for the faint of heart

Pretty intense!!

On a lighter note we did have sightings of some other cast members

A lovely morning out was the general concensus
