Buzzards

I went up to the hide this evening and picked up the SD card from the camera. As much as I am delighted at getting the Pine Marten regular, it's always nice to get something different. So, on getting home and checking the card I was well pleased at seeing these gorgeous birds at the hare carcass

After watching umpteen wee clips after this one, one buzzard flew off and one remained. It was determined to take the carcass away but to no avail

A wee bit later the other bird came back................

Again, one bird left leaving the other to feed happily without all the rigmarole of trying to take the hare away
